Filmatica in Claude and ChatGPT

You think it through in the chat, Filmatica makes the videos. Claude or ChatGPT creates drafts, edits them as you say, renders and fetches the download link. The app is where you review, polish and publish.

What stays in the app

Everything lands in the same workspace. In the app you do what the chat deliberately cannot:

  • publish single videos and set up the autopilot
  • connect Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • subscription, credit packs and invoices
  • change channels and settings

You stay in control

  • By default the assistant spends at most 20 credits per step and 200 credits a day without your confirmation. Anything above that you confirm yourself via a link. You set both limits yourself.

  • Publishing, payments and deleting are off limits for the assistant.

  • Disconnect any time under Settings → Connected apps.

How to connect Filmatica

You sign in with your Filmatica account, no key needed. This works on every plan, including the free one.

Claude

  1. In claude.ai or the desktop app, open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose “Add custom connector” and enter the address.
  3. Click Connect, sign in to Filmatica and choose Allow.

Filmatica is then available in the Claude mobile app as well.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins and add a custom MCP server.
  2. Name it “Filmatica Studio”, enter the address, choose OAuth as authentication and create it.
  3. Connect, sign in to Filmatica and choose Allow. Then type “@Filmatica” in the chat.

In our test on 6 Nov 2026 this also worked on the free ChatGPT plan, including drafts and rendering.

Claude Code

  1. Run in the terminal, then call “/mcp” in Claude Code and sign in:

Cursor and other tools connect with an AI assistant key from Settings → API, also on every plan.

Questions about Claude and ChatGPT

Does the connection cost extra?

No. The same prices and daily limits apply as in the app: drafts are free, only rendering costs credits.

Do I need Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus?

No. Claude allows a custom connector on the free plan, and in our test on 6 Nov 2026 ChatGPT worked on the free plan too. Which plan offers what is up to Anthropic and OpenAI and may change.

Can the assistant spend money without me?

Only up to your limits: by default 20 credits per step and 200 a day. Anything above that you confirm via a link. It cannot buy credits or change your subscription.

Can the assistant publish videos?

Not single videos, you do that in the app. Campaigns it can only schedule after you confirm via a link.

Does the assistant see my other data?

It sees videos, drafts and channels of your workspace, nothing else. What you write in the chat is processed by the assistant's provider under its own terms.
