Questions about pricing and billing
What is a credit?
Credits are the currency in Filmatica. Drafts and changes to text, music and captions are free; only rendering uses credits, and the price is shown before every render.
What does a video cost?
A 30-second video with stock clips costs 8 credits, a hybrid variant with two AI scenes 100, a full AI video with six scenes 150.
Do I need a subscription?
No. After signing up you have 100 credits. After that, there are credit packs without a subscription: 300 credits for €24, 1,000 for €65.
Do credits expire?
Subscription credits build up to twice the monthly amount; credit packs are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, effective at the end of the billing period: via “Cancel contracts here” at the bottom of every page or in the app under Credits. The monthly plan can be canceled every month.
What if a render fails?
Credits are only charged once the video is finished. If an AI scene fails, you don't pay for it.
Why is there no VAT?
Filmatica is a small business under Austrian § 6 (1) 27 UStG. Prices are final prices; no VAT is charged.
