What you can rely on
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Where Filmatica processes your data, which services are involved, how AI content is labeled and how credits and subscriptions work. The privacy policy and the terms (both in German) are binding; this page sums them up and adds where our AI requests run.
Where your data is processed
Files and the database are stored in the EU. The AI steps run on Google Cloud (Vertex AI and the speech services), in these regions:
- Files: uploads, drafts, finished videos
- Google Cloud Storage in Frankfurt
- App and database
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, servers in the EU
- Script, drafts, rating clips and images, AI images (Gemini, Nano Banana), video edits by prompt
- “global” endpoint: Google picks where it runs, which can be outside the EU
- AI clips (Veo), matching autopilot topics
- us-central1, USA
- Voice (Text-to-Speech)
- Global endpoint without a fixed region
- Subtitles and transcripts (Speech-to-Text)
- EU
So we don't promise processing in the EU only.
Training
Filmatica doesn't train its own AI models, so none are trained on your prompts, texts, images or videos.
The patterns for drafts come from AI analyses of public videos, including links that customers paste for analysis: if such a video is strong enough, its structure (hook, beats, ending) becomes a pattern available to all customers. Which patterns your next drafts use, Filmatica learns from numbers across all channels: how often a pattern was picked and rendered, and how the published video did compared with its channel. Your prompts, uploads and drafts aren't part of it.
For Vertex AI, Google commits not to use customer data to train or fine-tune models without prior permission. That is Google's commitment, not ours; Google's terms apply. Google's details
Who is involved

Where no location is given, the privacy policy doesn't name one.
What you pay
Fixed allowances instead of “unlimited”: every plan states its credits, how many drafts with AI clips you get per day and how many channels it has.
- Free: 100 credits once, 2 drafts with AI clips a day, 1 channel
- Creator, €24 a month: 400 credits, 10 drafts with AI clips a day, 1 channel
- Pro, €59 a month: 1,200 credits, 30 drafts with AI clips a day, 3 channels
- Business, €179 a month: 3,500 credits, 100 drafts with AI clips a day, 10 channels
You see the price before every render. Credits are reserved when it starts and only deducted once the video is finished.
If a render fails, nothing is deducted. If an AI scene fails, you don't pay for it.
Subscription credits build up to twice the monthly amount; credit packs are valid for 12 months.
You can cancel any time, effective at the end of the billing period, in Stripe's customer portal (in the app under Credits → “Abo verwalten”). So a monthly plan can be canceled every month.
AI labeling
AI images and AI clips from Google (Nano Banana, Veo) carry an invisible SynthID watermark from Google.
Where Filmatica publishes itself, it passes the AI label on to the platform (YouTube, Instagram via PostExpert).
TikTok: if the video contains an AI voice, AI images or AI clips, turn on “AI-generated content” when you post it. Filmatica reminds you in the download package, on the TikTok version, on the version without music and with TikTok drafts.
You have to label AI content according to the platform's rules and the EU AI Act (terms, section 7).
Your videos
You get a non-exclusive right to use your videos without time limit, including for commercial purposes (terms, section 4). For music from the library (NoCopyrightSounds), this applies only with the credit that Filmatica adds automatically. For clips, images and music you upload, you need the rights yourself (terms, section 5).
On the Free plan, finished videos are kept for 90 days; on paid plans until you delete them. We delete draft intermediates after 30 days.
